US Grade 6 - 9
In this class, I will cover the three most common mistakes I find in students’ essays. 1) the use of conjunctions. 2) problems using tenses. 3) using compound possessive pronouns. I will provide examples of problems I see, the rules governing these grammar points and then ask the students to look at sentences and give me the correction for the sentence. Learners will be able to discuss with me and other learners their understanding and questions. I teach in a friendly way, giving concrete facts as well as allowing free discussion to take place. No previous experience or knowledge is required. This class covers grammar points that older learners often have learned about in school, so please ensure you have read which grammar points I will cover in this class.
Learning Goals
Learners will be able to use these grammar points well in future English language work.
