Students will learn how to draw various cupcakes with colored pencils. This one-time class will have lots of choices, from the topics on the cupcakes to colors for the icing.

We will talk about cupcakes first! What is your favorite cupcake? We will make sure all of our supplies are near and start drawing! I will show every step and slow down/show the steps again, so everyone is on track. We will draw circles, triangles and various basic lines. We will outline the cupcakes with a black Sharpie. (My favorite part!) We will color the drawing, starting with a cherry and a strawberry. And of course, we will show our masterpieces at the end of the class! **Please notice that depending on the age and skill level of the learners, this class might end a few minutes early or run a few minute past the scheduled time.**
Learning Goals
Students will be introduced to basics of composition and various lines.
Students will practice their fine motor skills.

Supply List
-1 piece of white paper (It can be multi-media, construction or sketchbook paper.) -Pencil -Eraser -Colored Pencils -Extra Fine or Fine Tip Sharpie (for outlining) -an extra piece of scratch paper, in case a child wants to practice a line, before committing to it on the main drawing.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
