Are you interested in particle physics and want to keep up with the latest developments? Particle physics is on the frontier of physics research and our understanding of the universe. We have come a long way in our technologies and understanding thanks to this field of physics. In this weekly club we will explore some of the latest in this field of science. From atom smashers to dark matter and the fundamental forces of the universe, we will discuss how physicists are pushing our knowledge...
Students will learn about current events in particle physics and the science behind these discoveries and advancements.
Natasha has a bachelor of science degree and has spent her life learning about physics and astronomy. She has taught youth from 8-12 and beyond about the physics of the universe over the past 8 years.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will discuss the inherent nature of the universe, which some people may find unsettling at times.
