Curriculum: Learners will learn informational facts about Historical Figures like; Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Ruby Bridges, MLK, George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson, etc.. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education-Leadership. I have knowledge in teaching Social Studies Developmental concepts for children ages 3-8. I have also taught lessons about other historical figures in previous classes such as MLK, Harriet Tubman and Ruby Bridges.

In this class we will learn about slavery, freedom, racism, violence I will answer tough and sensitive questions in a child appropriate manner. We will be using: Epic Books: (Account needed) for reading stories about the Historical Figure Flocabulary: (No account needed, the video will be shared on my screen) for watching videos about the historical figure.
