Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
Curriculum:
Learners will learn informational facts about Historical Figures like; Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Ruby Bridges, MLK, George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson, etc..

Instruction:
-Students will watch an engaging video about the historical Figure ( Flocabulary will be used)
-Students will read a story about the Historical Figure (Epic books will be used)
-Students will do optional written activities about the Historical Figure (Printouts)
-Students will color pictures about the Historical Figure (optional) (Printouts)

Class Structure (Schedule)
Assignments and resources will be posted on Wednesday's.

Parental Guidance
In this class we will learn about slavery, freedom, racism, violence I will answer tough and sensitive questions in a child appropriate manner. We will be using: Epic Books: (Account needed) for reading stories about the Historical Figure Flocabulary: (No account needed, the video will be shared on my screen) for watching videos about the historical figure.
