Can you imagine your pet in a comic strip? In this class, learners will learn how to make a great comic-strip starring their pets! Learners will learn how to write with humor and how to keep thoughts short yet packed with meaning. We will start class by introducing our pets to each other and telling one funny thing about our pet. Learners will learn social skills by working collaboratively with each other and talking about their pets. Learners will learn how to make precise, compact phrases that pack a lot if information. Learners will learn how to communicate with humor through writing and drawing. Learners will learn how to find humor in every day activities and to share it in their writing and drawing
Please bring paper, a ruler, pencil and colored pencils or thin tip markers.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
