In this week long camp, learners will be empowered to look at themselves positively, increase their confidence and raise their self-esteem through hands-on activities, discussion with others, art and games.

Class experience

Learners will grow their personal confidence and connect to others.
I am an elementary school teacher and drama instructor who has had plenty of experience fostering confidence and self-esteem in children of all ages. I also hold a Mental Health First Aid certificate and have taken courses and training in a range of mental health topics. I was selected to serve on a focus panel that designed a school curriculum to teach kids about anxiety and fostering positive mental health. I also run social emotional learning initiatives at my public school and implement these strategies every day in my regular teaching practice. Perhaps most importantly, I have faced personal struggles in my journey towards self-acceptance and am passionate about using what I've learned along the way to help youth grow into the best version of themselves they can be.
