This course will begin with an optional 90 minute (three sessions) diagnostic. I will review the results and provide an initial report to the parent complete with an individual plan designed to address each students math deficits. Each session will be complete with a mini-lesson(s), I do/you do and active dialog and student teacher interaction. I am a licensed math teacher with fourteen years experience as a middle school math teacher and interventionist. My students have made exceptional progress and local, state and national metrics.
Homework Offered
Each student will be assign one or more skills to practice.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Each learner will be formatively assessed during each session by guided questioning and observation.Grades Offered
Students will be asked to have a whiteboard with a coordinate plane on one side and a dry erase marker, a calculator on certain days. I will supply IXL username and password.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
