In this unit learners will learn about 3 digit numbers using a gradual release model. Each lesson includes "I Do" with a short video introduction; "We Do" where we complete a worksheet together; "You Do" with an extra worksheet & game.

The assessments are the you do worksheet (answer key included). This will be done independently after the I do and You do video. There is one for each lesson/week on the syllabus.Class Experience
US Grade 3
Each lesson/week in this class we will learn a new third grade math concept. This course should be completed in 3 weeks. Every lesson will have at least 3 parts: I Do: This is a video were the content is presented to the learner. I will use my white board and/or manipulatives to demonstrate how we are going to solve our problems. We Do: This is a worksheet and video. Your learner should have their worksheet printed and we will go through each of the problems together. You Do: This is a worksheet with an answer key for you to check your learner's work. There is also a fun digital game/escape room where your learner can solve additional problems to play the game or escape! At anytime during the course you need additional support or help accessing anything please post in the classroom or send me a message. I try to respond to each and every message within 24 hours and frequently it is much quicker than that! If there ever is a time I haven't got back to you within 24 hours please send me a second message because for some reason I didn't get a notification of message. Never worry that you are bothering me too much!

Lesson 2:
3-digit Addition
We will learn how to add numbers with 3-digits including regrouping. 17 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
3-digit Subtraction
We will learn how to subtract numbers up to 3 digits including regrouping. 19 mins of video lessons

Learning Needs
I am a licensed special education teacher with experience teaching students with ADHD, ASD, and many other learning needs.
Parental Guidance
Occasionally we will use scissors which will need appropriate parental supervision.
The interactive games/escape rooms will need to be downloaded and extracted to be able to be played.
Pre-Requisites
Students should either be currently enrolled in 3rd grade OR in 2nd Grade AND successful with 2nd grade curriculum and are ready for more complex math. This class is also appropriate for students who have completed 3rd grade but need help.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
