In this ongoing course, we will stimulate our imagination, brainstorm together, draw a picture and write sentences using a different writing prompt in each session.
Class experience
US Grade 1 - 3
We will be practicing our brainstorming, drawing, writing, speaking and listening skills in a fun way using various writing prompts. Approximately 24 hours before the scheduled class time, learners will be given a writing sheet to DOWNLOAD and PRINT to use in class. The sheet will contain a picture which will be our starting point for the lesson. Learners will draw a scene relating to the picture and write either a few sentences about the picture or a short story, based on learner ability....
Students will practice sharing and organizing their ideas, writing skills and listening and speaking skills.
Homework Offered
Learners are encouraged to finish coloring their pictures and writing (as needed) after class and share their creation with their family.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

A one-page writing prompt will be provided approximately 24 hours before class time. Please print the page and bring it to class. Learners will also need a pencil, eraser and coloring tools such as crayons or colored pencils.
