Description

Class Experience

The goal of this class is to foster competency with a standard algorithm for multiplication of multi digits, facilitating understanding, and develoing efficiency and accuracy when multiplying. 
Homework will not be assigned, but the student will be encouraged to create and solve their own multiplication problems using the concepts covered in this class.  Math takes practice, and the more a student practices, the more confident a student becomes!
Pencil, paper and crayons, markers or colored pencils are needed, along with a desire to learn and have fun!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No formal assessment will be given, but a concluding problem will be given for students to solve in order to demonstrate a level of mastery.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
