Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will - learn to build number sense by seeing how numbers are related through adding, subtracting and comparing numbers - learn different names of shapes and their characteristics - finding and creating patterns. -Connect math to real life through story telling, counting objects around their houses, finding shapes in everyday life
No Homework
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will use online manipulatives, whiteboard, worksheets and games from educational websites to make learning suitable for many learners' different levels and ways of learning.
