Description

Class Experience

I have taught AP World History, AP European History, AP Art History, and AP English for ten years in a brick-and-mortar high school, and I have worked with students on Outschool for three years ranging in age from 6 to 16, so I have a strong background in historical content knowledge and analysis, as well as experience working with a wide array of different learners.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
While this does not represent an exhaustive list of sources used, these are some of the main secondary authors used by the instructor to prepare for the course:

A. Adu Boahen's Yaa Asantewaa and the Asante-British War
Jung Chang's Empress Dowager Cixi
Alison Weir's Queen of the Crusades, Isabella: She-Wolf of France
Catherine Roehig's Hatshepsut: From Queen to Pharaoh
Richard Huscroft's The Norman Conquest
Franz Herre's Ludwig II, Maria Theresa: the Great Habsburg
Modern Europe: Sources & Perspectives (ed. Swanson & Melancon)
