In this class, we will look at mighty, magnificent, and misinformed people who found the leadership of their people thrust upon them. Using primary sources and images from their rule, we will examine both the basic story of their upbringing and career, as well as analyze the way they justified and maintained their position of power. I have taught AP World History, AP European History, AP Art History, and AP English for ten years in a brick-and-mortar high school, and I have worked with students on Outschool for three years ranging in age from 6 to 16, so I have a strong background in historical content knowledge and analysis, as well as experience working with a wide array of different learners.
