Hello and Welcome to Teacher Chrystal’s oil pastel class. In this fun oil pastel class, your learner will learn four new techniques while having fun socializing with their fellow Among Us fans. This class is a fun approach to learning. Your learner will need to follow step-by-step instructions. This class is all live instruction, engaging with your learner, which means no pictures, videos, or presentations. Among Us, players can share tips with each other while drawing up their Among Us oil pastel drawings. Week 1: Learners will draw up a space scene as seen in the display profile picture. Week 2: Learners will draw up a fun map placing their Among Us imposter character where ever they like. The map is based off the Skeld. This class tends to go over the predicted time frame by about 15 minutes. Don’t forget the masking tape! Parents, please do not let your child play the game during the class: students will need every precious minute to make these beautiful fun oil pastel pieces. Let’s have fun and draw ourselves two wonderful full art pieces while learning techniques they can use for future oil pastel drawings! I look forward to having your learners there!

Bachelor's Degree from CUNY School of Professional Studies
Hello and welcome everyone! Let me start with how thrilled I am to have you here. I teach a range of different classes, which include creative writing, ESL, baking, arts, and crafts. I am a firm believer in creativity, hands-on learning, and truly helping my students through their learning styles.
I have a bachelor’s in sociology and a minor in developmental psychology. Some of my passions are teaching ethnography, social studies, and research methods. I have over 19 years of experience working with children of all ages in multiple different settings. My most recent teaching experience over the last three years is with homeschooling, my three children. I am a certified ESL teacher and tutor and been working with children of all ages.
My philosophy for education is that all children are unique and need a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I desire to create this atmosphere where students can meet their full potential. I will provide a safe environment where students can share their ideas and take risks. I am passionate about my students and how I can help them learn something new. Learning is fun, and keeping a positive demeanor is what I love to encourage.
Some fun things about myself are that I love to paint both on canvas and digitally! I can sing you a tune or two and find singing, music, and art to be a fun way to encourage learning. Art and crafts are my specialties because I can use art to teach your child math, science, and writing.
