4+ hours per week. Self-paced math problem sets are assigned in between practice exams. Students will score these problem sets themselves, view video answer explanations for questions they've missed and correspond with me via email with any additional questions.Assessment
Optional (But HIGHLY recommended) Weekly SAT exams will be provided. These tests are official exams from the College Board (makers of the SAT). These exams help student to see their growth over time and establish a benchmark for the score they can expect to earn on their actual SAT. These tests will include both the Math and the Reading sections of the SAT so that students gain experience/practice taking full tests. Scores can be shared with me and I am happy to provide video explanations for missed math questions from these tests as well!Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
What will be taught? All SAT Math topics including concepts and strategies. What topics will you cover? The four topics as described by the College Board (makers of the SAT): Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem Solving & Data Analysis, and Geometry & Trigonometry. How is your class structured? Weekly Problem Sets that students can either answer as prescribed (one per day) or at their own pace. Students communicate with me when they complete the problem sets and I follow up with an answer key and video explanations so that students can view explanations for questions they answered correctly or correctly but still struggled with. How will you teach? My teaching comes in the form of thousands of video explanations specific to questions in the problem sets that each student completes. As students complete more questions they will begin to make connections between the types of questions they tend to answer incorrectly as well as the strategies required to answer these types of questions correctly in the future. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is direct and patient. I believe that the best way to improve your SAT score (outside of one-on-one private tutoring) is through repetition with consistent explanations that expose the interworking of question types and show students how to answer these types of questions (not just how to answer the specific question missed). It is important that students see the connection between their thought process and why they are missing questions. Is it a lack of knowledge? A lack of understanding? Misreading the question, etc. The more students watch my videos they will hear very consistent messaging that helps them (with a lot of repetition) to develop the habits for success. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other: I am available everyday to respond to student messages. If a student needs more help with a question beyond what the video provides they can message me and I will respond with additional assistance.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of the breadth of SAT Math questions they will encounter on the SAT. Most students who complete this course score 700+ on the actual SAT exam!

"I study outside the US and my school does not teach us anything SAT related and your channel helped me so much for preparing for my SAT especially the math part. I had 16 days to study and on my first practice test I got a 450 in math. During these 16 days I think I almost watched every single video of yours and I was able to develop a think strategy to approach questions and tricks that has saved me so much time during the exam and in the end I got 760 on math !! Thank you so much for your videos are truly life saving for all the students like me out there."
