Theory and Practice of Everyday Negotiation
For four sessions, students will learn negotiation theory, apply it to in-class simulations of "big" negotiations, and practice the skills in daily life through optional at-home exercises, becoming better communicators in the process.

Description
Class Experience
After each class, students will be sent negotiation cases which they should read and consider in advance of the next class. Students will also be given optional exercises each week that demonstrate how easy it is to incorporate negotiation skills in real life. While optional, these exercises are highly recommended for growing as negotiators!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This class is based on negotiation classics including Getting to Yes, Never Split the Difference, and Influence.
