Class Experience
Hi! I am Ms. Anna Fontaine, I received my MFA in Acting (International) from East 15 Acting School in London and a BA in Theatre from Georgia College. I’ve always been a Shakespeare nerd and have been lucky enough to perform at the Globe Theatre as well as work as an actor and as a teaching artist for students K-12 with the Atlanta Shakespeare Company.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The students will need a space to be free to act out any portion of the roles. It would be helpful to be in a quiet space if they are not going to be using a noise cancelling microphone. The physical activity will not be strenuous, though they may want water nearby as they might be speaking a lot. Makeup: If the student is using new makeup, that they have never experienced, I recommend to test the makeup before class to prevent an allergic reactions. I would do a patch test 24 hours before the lesson to prevent any reactions to the makeup during class. I have provided a link for patch testing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjEZp4w3eqY https://www.vitacost.com/blog/bath-beauty/3-steps-to-patch-test-new-beauty-products.html During our lesson I will actually be washing my face, taking off previous makeup and then reapply it. However, I would recommend for the student to come to class with their face already cleansed and ready to apply if they are going to be putting on their own personal make up. https://www.wikihow.com/Prepare-Your-Face-Before-Applying-Makeup https://www.wikihow.com/Wash-Your-Face Note: The adaptation has revised a lot of the topics that may not have been age appropriate
