Do you love being funny? Join Improv Club and learn tips to be funny with your friends! Learn different ways, games, and skills to expand your mind and get a laugh! The best thing about Improv Club is that you don’t have to come to every class to pick up new skills! We will explore the Golden Rules of Improv each week, by playing specific improv games. Students will learn different methods of Improv through playing different games encouraging a playful approach for learners to sharpen their improvisational skills.
Lacey Cannon (She/Her) is an Arts Educator based in Central Texas. Since beginning with Creative Action in 2018, she has taught classes for students about Theatre, Improv, Story Telling, and Makeup Design. Lacey has served on the board of local theatre companies as Artistic Director and producer, been a contributing writer for BroadwayWorld Austin, and a second round screenplay finalist for the Austin Film Festival. When she’s not teaching, Lacey enjoys cooking, reading, and cuddling with her 12 yr. old cat, Binx.
