Description

Class Experience

The instructor will take you through an in-depth guided tour through an active blackbox theatre. This one-time class is an excellent opportunity to learn theatre terminology and about the different parts that work together for a successful live production.

This interactive class is great for anyone who has an interest in live theatre, either as an audience member, a performer or someone who wants to know more about how theatre magic is created. This all-inclusive walk-through is appropriate...

I have been a theatre director for over 20 years - theater is my passion! I really enjoy sharing the joys of theatre with others.

The blackbox theatre featured in the tour is Spotlight Studios, my own theatre. It was built within an existing industrial space and currently hosts over 25 productions a year.

No handouts or additional material.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
