Class experience
In this ongoing Drama class, students will bring characters and stories to life with their voice. The class will be performance based and scripts will be chosen each week based on the participants. Students are expected to read at a proficient level and be prepared to play an active role within the class. The course will focus on character development and the actor's delivery and will NOT be a reading lesson. Scripts will be posted a week before class, if possible. Students can be assigned...
Students will explore the depth of their characters. Students will identify emotions that are critical for delivery of the character’s tone. Students will demonstrate performance standards throughout the class.
I have taught drama and music at the elementary and middle school levels for 9 years.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Script pdfs will be posted in the class for students to print.
