As the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of their lives, participants will learn that they are the primary decision makers for all of the education, decisions, actions, activities, thoughts and money. They are actually “in-charge” of everything and if their lives were a movie, they are the leading actor, director and producers - - - all-in-one. Participants in this class will learn how to make better decisions, positively program their thoughts, learn to adjust their attitudes in a variety of situations, and learn to manage their time and activities while becoming a better supervisor of their “employees” and increasing their financial literacy. During this class, participants will identify their own strengths and weaknesses, decision making skills, abilities, wants, needs and goals Each participant will 1) Complete a personal personality profile 2) Create and implement an interview survey about leadership 3) Identify different ways to motivate themselves and others 4) How to set and achieve short- medium- and long-term goals 5) Generate A List of 5 S.M.A.R.T. Goals & ways to attain them within their time frame 6) Complete a daily priorities sheet & learn to utilize it on their goals, needs & wants 7) Compile a list of traits & qualities of a Successful CEO Because children are interested in money at a young age, they should learn good financial habits when they’re young, so they won’t have to change bad habits when they are older. It is suggested that participants conduct interviews with parents, family, friends, neighbors and business professionals regarding their perspectives on leadership, internal and external motivation, time management and goal setting. Learner Time: (2) 60-minute class sessions with time between sessions to gather materials and prepare for the next class. The time between classes will depend upon the student’s age and personal commitment to learning more about the financial world around them. …Through my years of working with children I have found that though the desire to improve their financial education is strong, some students lack adequate support from home to make the necessary long-term changes they desire. Parent participation is strongly encouraged but not required. Teacher expertise and credentials
I live and teach w/3 basic principles:
#1 I'll never ask you to do anything I'm not willing to do myself.
#2 I won't do it unless it's fun
#3 If we must do it - I'm going to make it FUN!
I'm a master teacher with more than 20yrs direct classroom instruction (3rd grade - university) who then moved into entrepreneurship, consulting and private coaching...I've authored more than 11 books and 1 international best selling book. I host two podcasts (1x a week) for Pet Lovers of all ages, called EAT-PLAY-LOVE-PETS, where we provide meaningful conversations, information and resources for people and their pets to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life together for as long as possible.
My second podcast is The Kid Factor, what you need to know about money and business that isn't taught in schools. It is for kids ages 7 - 21 and parents too.
I began my first business in the 1st grade and sold it for a profit in 4th grade and now as an entrepreneur, I work with children and families teaching financial education, business start-up, marketing, passive residual income, entrepreneurship, money skills and self-reliance and I, in my own life, continue to practice all that I teach my students and their parents to do. Generating passive, residual income affords me the time and opportunities to share my knowledge, passion and love with those hungry to learn and change their lives so they too can live the life of their dreams.
I am an accomplished athlete with NCAA D1 records, multiple International Gold Medals and have set 4 World Records 9-times. I still compete and I am a highly sought after coach in the areas of strength & conditioning, mental prep. & mindset, track & field, swimming, tennis, powerlifting, and all of the "ball" sports... I don't just coach my athletes to be better in their given sports, I coach them to be better PEOPLE in their communities, just as I do with my students in my classes as well. I honor the opportunity to serve others and assist them in enhancing their athletic and academic performances...
I am an accomplished artist whose medium is glass and mirrors. My works hang in many businesses, institutions and homes throughout North America. Some of my favorite work is volunteering with various miniature horse rescues and equine therapy programs across the United States. I am an active member of my Community Animal Rescue Team (CART).
When I'm not teaching on zoom, I can often be found mucking horse stalls, photographing animals in nature or researching or interviewing a new person for my weekly podcasts. My newest hobby is becoming a Drone Pilot.
