Description

Class Experience

Students will understand what was happening during this time period around the globe. The hope is to also examine the history from the point of view of people who lived in those particular times and places and not just from a modern and usually Westernized viewpoint.

I will provide various handouts and directions that can be printed out throughout the semester. Visiting the local library may be suggested so that students can learn more.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be given assignments each week that may include: watching videos and summarizing what they saw. Projects that require some arts and crafts. Written assignments. Research assignments. 
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Students may need help completing some of the projects. There is no mature content, but sometimes parent help is needed to complete assignments. 
I will provide various handouts and directions that can be printed out throughout the semester. Visiting the local library may be suggested so that students can learn more. Optional supplementary materials can also be bought from Teacher Pay Teachers. None of those will be required, but given in case students would like to learn more about a particular subject.
