Class Experience

Together, we will unravel the secrets of their toxins and discover the unique adaptations that make them masters of survival. To be able to: - Understand the concept of venom and its role in the animal kingdom. - Identify and differentiate various venomous creatures, including the rough-necked newt, Spanish fly, and other fascinating examples. - Describe the habitats, diets, and behaviors of different venomous species. - Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of awe and respect for the natural world.
All activities are optional.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
