Find out how Tennyson created a poetic war memorial that has been loved for generations, which brings to life the courage and devotion to duty of a group of men in a way that has inspired countless readers through the years. The class will be a mixture of explanation from the teacher and discussion of key ideas in the poem. You will also have the opportunity to write a short paragraph based on what you have learned towards the end of the class. This mixture of activities will ensure that the knowledge you are gaining will be well embedded, forming a great foundation for future learning.
