Description
Class Experience
Tasha Tudor has been a life-long inspiration for my work. I grew up reading her beautiful books, and learned many of my long practiced artistic skills based on her own lifestyle that cultivated a deep respect for heritage craft. I currently consult as a domestic and textile historian for Great Smokey Mountain Heritage Center, where I strive to communicate a sense of understanding and honor for the balance of practical hard work infused with great beauty that is a hallmark times past.
Students should come to class with a #2 pencil, colored pencils, a couple of sheets of plain white paper, and scissors. Students may also bring a favorite doll and a cup of tea!
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We'll be using scissors, so students should be trusted to use them safely.
