I am aware that learners may not feel comfortable being on camera in class. I enable the chat during class to allow learners to communicate with me and their classmates if they’re not comfortable. I work with students to ensure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their experience that includes setting classroom norms at the beginning of class. I also ask students their expectations of me so that I can ensure I am supporting them in class the best way possible.
I have over 6 years in teaching creative writing workshops for students. My experience ranges from online learning to in person learning.
