The students will be taught the basic skills of the 5 step writing process. The students will be given a topic and accompanied through the process of writing a 3 paragraph essay. The students should be aware of the compostition of a complete sentences. They should be able to distinguish between complete sentences, sentence fragments, and incomplete sentences. I am offering this class because writing is my passion. I love to write. My approach to writing is to see every topic as a learning experience. Research your topic. Writing gives you the opportunity to express your thoughts to others. I currently teach writing to struggling readers and I really enjoy it.
