Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
Calling all shark lovers! Come join me in this ongoing class as we dive into the wonderful world of sharks. Sharks are amazing creatures that have been on earth for over 400 MILLION years. Sharks populated the planet before dinosaurs existed and they have managed to survive every major extinction event. While you may be familiar with some of the more popular species of sharks like the great white, whale shark and tiger shark, there are currently over 500 species of sharks in existence today. In this ongoing class we will learn about some of these amazing sharks.

What is the biggest/smallest shark? What are some adaptations that have allowed different shark species to survive for millions of years? What is the fastest shark? For answers to these questions and so much more join me in this ongoing class where we will learn about a new shark every week. Learners will explore where each species lives, their diet, physical characteristics and some fun facts.
