Class Experience
Painting with watercolors is a unique art experience. Maybe you've never used watercolors before, or maybe you already use and enjoy this art medium. Either way, I want to help you discover the flexibility, varied techniques, and amazing effects that are possible with watercolor. No previous art experience is required! Fine Arts Studies at LSU, Commercial Art Certificate, Professional experience in a variety of commercial and graphic arts fields.
Students will need: 1. Watercolor Paper (recommended at least 12x9, 90 LB grade weight, loose or tablet is fine) [Note: Standard printer paper is not recommended for watercolor painting] 2. Set of watercolors (basic, school-type watercolor set is preferred over tubes) 3. Three to four paint brushes of varying sizes 4. Container of water 5. Optional: additional tray/palette for mixing colors
