Class Experience

Students will independently read "The Witches" by Roald Dahl then come to class ready to discuss the book - giving them lots of reading comprehension practice in a fun and friendly environment.
Students will need to read the book before attending class.
Students will need to check out a copy of "The Witches" by Roald Dahl or purchase the book online. A copy can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/Witches-Roald-Dahl/dp/014241011X
Assessment upon request.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This book has some graphic and scary imagery that may spook your child. With the exception of the description of the witches, the class discussion does not focus on the scary imagery. Rather, the class creates a light and fun space so students can enjoy the story without being too spooked.
