Class Experience
This class will explore the adventurous sequel to The Wild Robot, The Wild Robot Escapes by Peter Brown. We will learn about the author, his creative process, vocabulary building, constructed responses with different types of questions (detail/inference, main idea/summarizing/theme, character/setting/plot/events, word meaning/figurative language, text structure, point of view, compare and contrast). As Roz finds herself among humans in this chapter of her life, we will be discovering new...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
