During this playdate, we will start by reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. We will then talk about the life cycle of a butterfly and learn a song that teaches the stages of a butterflies life cycle. We will then enjoy some play time using play dough to mold the different stages of a butterfly's life cycle. Play dough mats are provided for printing before class, but are optional. Students will learn about the life cycle of a butterfly, reading comprehension from our story time and social skills while we do our play dough activity.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Play dough may contain wheat, which could cause and allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
