In this one time class, students will learn about the urinary tract, system and functions through hands on experiment.
Class experience
This is a hands on activity class where students learn through experiments. It is a highly interactive class and students will learn about the urinary system , the kidneys and functions of the urinary tract. We will conduct the experiment during the class and understand how things work in our body through it. The students will learn some cool fun facts and proceed with checking their knowledge through games and quiz. It is important to have the household materials listed here for the...
The teacher is a graduate with Bachelors in Science and Physiotherapy and has multi years experience teaching biology. She is a college professor and also teaches high school students.
For the experiment we would need : 1. A shoe box or cardboard box or a cone stand. 2. Safety scissors 3. A big balloon. 4. Two plastic bottles cut in half (we will use the neck side) 5. Some straws 6. Play dough or modelling clay 7. Elastic band/ rubber band 8. Making tape or electric tape 9. A small pin 10. A paper cutter. 11. Coffee filters 2 or kitchen roll sheet 12. Some dirty water - water mixed with dirt and tiny pebbles.
