Class Experience

If your child has ever dreamed of owning a pet unicorn, this is the class for him or her! The Unicorn Care Academy will teach children the basic needs that all living things require for survival. We will also dive into how to care for a pet unicorn. While we learn about the dos and don'ts of taking care of a pet unicorn, we will be creating a Rebus story (a story that uses pictures in place of certain words so the child can build confidence in his or her literacy skills). Three PDF pages will be available for download prior to the lesson. The student will complete these pages with me. The student will need to have basic drawing and coloring supplies such as crayons or markers.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
