Class Experience

Oh no! Farmer McDonald has lost all of his farm animals! Can you help Mother Goose find all of his lost animals? 

In this one time, 30 minute class, students will have fun learning and singing about farm animals! 

Throughout the class, students will help Mother Goose identify all of the missing farm animals, and assist her in luring them back to the McDonald farm with popular farm animal songs!

There will also be a show and tell at the end of class where students can share their favorite animals and animal related toys! 

Each student will have the opportunity to participate and ask or answer questions throughout the class. 
 
They will also be provided with a coloring sheet that can be used during or after class as a cool down activity.

Learning Goals

Students will have fun learning about the different types of animals that live on farms. They will review animal noises, as well as sing some popular songs about them! 
Students will improve their musical abilities by listening to popular songs and singing along. 
Lastly, students will work on developing communication skills and confidence through sharing their things for show and tell.

Hello! My name is Teacher Alysa and I am so excited to meet you! 
A little bit about myself: Upon completing my high school education, I enrolled in a post-secondary Theatre Arts program and graduated with honours at Sheridan College in Oakville, ON, Canada. I then switched gears and continued on to Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, Canada. There, I completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree with concentrations in Dramatic Arts and English Literature and Language, as well as a Bachelor of Education degree with teachables in Drama and English. 
I have many years of teaching experience with children, and I am also a professional actress and children’s entertainer outside of the classroom! I believe that learning should be fun and I enjoy acting, singing, and bringing smiles to children all over the world! I can’t wait to see you in the classroom!
