Students will learn the significance of the Tudor Dynasty and why Henry’s reign is so notorious in English History.
I have taught this material three times on outschool, as well as in a public school setting with students as young as ten years old.

•Capital punishment such as beheading (no graphics will be shown) •miscarriages and fertility •some sexual references such as Catharine Howard’s confession that she lied naked with a man before her marriage to Henry •adultery will be discussed as well as mistresses •illegitimate son will be mentioned
I will read letters from King and Queens and the children of Henry VIII. The excerpts will be provided in the PowerPoints. Other sources I will use: The Creation of Anne Boleyn by Susan Bordo. The Six Wives and Many Mistresses of Henry VIII by Amy Licence. I also provided some online resources for students who are interested.
