Your child needs to attend 90% of the classes to qualify for this exclusive reward. Each week, they'll learn valuable lessons and work on short scenes designed for on-camera acting. Program Highlights: Week 1: Discover what it takes to become an actor! Play fun improv games and learn what casting directors, agents, and production companies are looking for, including headshots, portfolios, and demo reels. Week 2: Get a practice monologue and start working on it with weekly lessons. Week 3: Dive into Method Acting and basic character development. Week 4: Explore emotional choices and beats. See how changing emotions and inflections can transform a line. Week 5: Learn the basics of script analysis. Week 6: Start scene study by watching films and analyzing character relationships, gestures, objectives, and transformations. Week 7: Wrap up basic scene study discussions. Week 8: Present your scene or monologue! Why Join? Engaging Activities: Participate in warm-up improv games, brief meditations, and other exercises to stay focused and energized. Expert Guidance: Learn from experienced instructors who will guide you every step of the way. No Experience Needed: Perfect for beginners! It is highly recommended that you have a printer for this program to print out the short scenes and or monologues. However it is not necessary, as it is good practice to have the students write out their line so it helps them memorize.
