In this 30 minute, fun-filled American Sign Language class students will enjoy learning a “Hello” and “Goodbye” song in ASL, meet some adorable puppet friends and follow them as they race to the finish line! We will introduce Opposite signs as we cheer on the Tortoise and the Hare during their race. Students will sign along to music, incorporate movement, ASL vocabulary work, play a simple interactive group game and enjoy story time at the end to tie it all together! A great beginner class for those looking to build their American Sign Language vocabulary in a relaxed, fun and engaging way!
Learning Goals
Students will build a foundational American Sign Language vocabulary and have fun learning new songs and opposite signs!
