Class Experience

This class is taught in Russian.
Students will improve their understanding of the classical literature unit "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" by A.S. Pushkin, learn about the author, learn new vocabulary and start analyzing the Tale by creating a story map with the main characters and main events of the story.
After the class, I will provide a copy of the story map to print (color printer recommended). So students will be able to cut the elements and paste them on the map.
"The Tale of Tsar Saltan" in Russian (optional) can be purchased here: Students will need scissors, glue, pencil and eraser. I will read the story to the children, but if you already have the book at home " The Tale of Tsar Saltan", it would be wonderful if the child has it available during and after the class. A 3 pages hand out will be provided after the class. The students will need help printing it (color recommended). The elements of the story will be cut and pasted on the map. We will be using the interactive elements of Miro whiteboard during the class only.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
