Description
Class Experience
Students will read and use vocabulary words to describe fictional and nonfictional characters. Students will help to write and create scenarios that relate to helping others. Students will use complete sentences in conversational expression to describe and compare details. Students will clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning word phrases.
There will not be any homework assignments for this class.
A Superhero Costume (optional) Notebook and paper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents will be provided with an informal assessment of the child's performance with feedback via the Outschool messaging system.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
