Description
Class Experience
The sun is a powerful engine that smashes together atoms, producing light and heat while it works. But why does this happen? Does the sun do this all the way through its body, or are there other layers inside the sun? Let's explore these questions and more as we journey through the layers of the sun and explore what each layer does. We will also compare the sun as it is now with the sun as it grows into a red giant star later in its life. We'll learn about the size, temperature, and mass of...
Students will explore the inner world of our sun, compare the sun to other stars in the universe, and see how our sun will change through time.
