Class Experience

The Great Wall of China was a series of stone and earth walls in northern China built to protect the Chinese Empire against attacks by nomadic groups in the north. The Great Wall, with all of its branches, stretches for 8,851.8 km (5,500.3 mi).

Learners will learn about the emperors and dynasties that built the wall. Learners will also explore how the wall was built.

Throughout this class, interactive slides, discussions, games, and storytelling will help shape the story of the Great Wall of China!
