Hi, Welcome to the Story of YOUR Singing! If you're like me, you love to sing and singing means so much to you. I started when I was a little girl and I have a really interesting story- I didn't connect to it right away, it was only when I was an adult and had stopped taking lessons for many years that I truly connected to it and found my voice. I'm still finding it everyday. And I hope to help you find yours- in singing, speaking, and writing. In this class we do all 3- In addition to...

I hope this class will be such a heartwarming and deeply connecting experience and more for your learner.
I started singing lessons when I was a child, maybe 4 or 5. I remember my Dad, who loved music so much but perhaps never had the opportunity to have a music lesson in his life, bought an instrument home one day and started pretending he knew how to play it- laughing and joking for comedic effect because he knew we were watching. He wanted to share his love of music- what better way than to started banging on the drums in a way to bring us joy, and to show us that anybody could do it- that anyone could love music. And that that would be reason enough to sing or pick up any instrument. Throughout my life, I have often felt that my art wasn't good enough. I am reminded by my father's sheer joy and love for something- and how that joy is reason enough to do anything. He never had the opportunity to have music lessons as a child but he gave that opportunity to his children. At a young age, i started taking voice lessons, and in a few years began playing an ethnic instrument. My Dad's love for music is what I remember today, and though he's not here physically, he's in each and everyone of these classes. It's an honor to share this joy and love with you.
