In this 4-week book club, we will be learning about Jane Goodall. There are fun activities throughout the course that each learner will be able to create, enjoy and share about. This is a great class to harness social and emotional skills.

Class experience

US Grade 2 - 4
This class is taught in English.
In this book club, learners will be able to harness communication, comprehension, art, vocabulary, along with social and emotional skills. This class touches on subjects like Environmental Science, Art, and Language Arts in an engaging and enjoyable manner.
I am an experienced conservation educator. I am a certified Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Compassionate and Service Learning educator and Project WILD certified as well.
Homework Offered
The entire book, or assigned chapters, should be read beforehand outside of class. The teacher will inform the learners what chapters will be discussed in the next class, as well as send the learners the comprehension questions for the following week to help them prepare.

Learners will need to have  an audio, digital, or hard copy (either purchased or borrowed) of "The Story of Jane Goodall" by Susan B. Katz. Please bring the following supplies in class during the specific week as well:

Week 1: Paper (recycled, if possible) 
              Coloring materials

Week 3: Printed Worksheets A and B (will be sent to learners after class on Week 2)
             Crayons or colored pencils (no markers)
             Scissors
             Glue
