Learners will get to do an art project in class and share it with their peers, complete a "Reminder Wheel", learn vocabulary from the book, as well as answer and ask questions about the book, and more. In this book club, learners will be able to harness communication, comprehension, art, vocabulary, along with social and emotional skills. This class touches on subjects like Environmental Science, Art, and Language Arts in an engaging and enjoyable manner.
I am an experienced conservation educator. I am a certified Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Compassionate and Service Learning educator and Project WILD certified as well.
Homework Offered
The entire book, or assigned chapters, should be read beforehand outside of class. The teacher will inform the learners what chapters will be discussed in the next class, as well as send the learners the comprehension questions for the following week to help them prepare.Assessments Offered
