Journey back into the Middle Ages when the Roman Empire collapsed and feudalism began. Feudalism was a social system where the nobility was given land in exchange for military service. Knights provided military service to the nobles in return for land. Peasants worked without pay on the land to produce food for themselves and their masters. Students will look at life during this time period through the lens of a king, a lord, a knight, and a peasant. Using interactive slides, storytelling, and discussions, students will explore feudalism in Europe.
