Description

Class Experience

Students will gain an understanding of how investing benefits both companies and stockholders, while also contemplating the role of money in their daily life. Students will learn about the risks and benefits of investing with a focus on rational versus emotional investing. Specific skills emphasized include: critical thinking, money management, risk assessment, and data analysis.
As a public school teacher with 5+ years of classroom experience, I have taught students in grades 7-8 about the basics of the stock market, responsible investing strategies, risk assessment, and wealth management. My classes give students a comprehensive understanding of investing terminology and empower students to continue improving their financial literacy on their own.
