In this one-time class, we will learn the traditions and history of the St. Patrick's Day Parade which is held throughout the United States to celebrate this holiday.

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th. The history of this day began in Ireland but today St. Patrick's Day is a tradition for many regions across the United States. Join me as we look at the tradition and history of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in America. We'll understand where and when the tradition of a parade stared as well as who participates in the parades. Through the use of pictures, Google Slides and a trivia review game, we'll understand the history of the St. Patrick's Day...
Learners will understand the history of St. Patrick's Day and how the celebration came to America. Learners will compare and contrast the changes of parade tradition over time. Learners will demonstrate knowledge through a review game. Learners will be able to explain the events and traditions of St. Patrick's Day parades.
