St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th. The history of this day began in Ireland but today St. Patrick's Day is a tradition for many regions across the United States. Join me as we look at the tradition and history of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in America. We'll understand where and when the tradition of a parade stared as well as who participates in the parades. Through the use of pictures, Google Slides and a trivia review game, we'll understand the history of the St. Patrick's Day Parade, why it began and how it has changed over time. Together, let's learn about how the past has shaped the present. No prior knowledge is required for this class.
