Parental Guidance
We will be discussing the Salem Witch Trials. In these trials, the idea that there was witches living in Massachusetts colony drove the town mad. 200 people were accused of being witches, but only 30 were found guilty. Of those 30, 19 were executed, so there will be a discussion of death and the methods in which those living in Massachusetts took to ensure there were no witches by. I have taught this subject in my in person class for many years, while some are disheartened by the outcome, many are just shocked at the extent that this town took. I am here for any student who handles this lesson with difficulty. And I am trained in social emotional learning skills.
