We will discuss the the amazing careers of NBA Superstars, Steph Cury and Klay Thompson. I've a couple of videos that I will show, that discuss their personal backgrounds. We will have a classroom discussion on these two players and how they should be compared to other NBA superstars. Plus we will discuss how they were "underdog" stories in regards to becoming tow of the greatest in the game. If you are a basketball player or just simply love the NBA, then this should be an exciting class.
Learning Goals
The students will learn that they don't have to be the biggest or the fastest to be an excellent player. Plus they take some of the teachings in this class and apply them to every day life.

Hello. My name is Ryan Berich. Currently, I am an English as a second language teacher. However, I can teach an array of classes and subjects. I have experiences in various subjects. My certifications are K-6 Middle level Social Studies and English as Second Language. I am also a high school basketball coach.
My philosophy in regards to teaching, is to keep the students as engaged as possible. The more they are engaged, the more they will get out of the lesson. I also feel that students need challenged. It is important to install a growth mindset for them.
I've many different interests such as American History, sports and fishing. I would love to have the opportunity to teach students in Outschool.
