In this class we will look at a new scene together and try to understand what our heros and heroines are saying! As a professional Actor, and Shakespeare Specialist, I am excited to share the secrets of the Bard and let you into the club! All levels are welcome - - No prior Shakespearience required, ****however **** Shakespearience 1.0 and 1.5 are greatly encouraged as we will be building on the lessons learned in 1.0. This class is designed for anyone who wants to know more about Shakespeare, get an edge for reading his plays aloud in English class, or for actors who want to gain the tools to ROCK that audition for the school play! Class will consist of: Game: We will learn and practice our fun and silly Shakespearean Insults (“You Roguish Milk-Livered Varlot!!) Practice: We will read a scene and/or speech aloud and work through it together discussing: -what’s happening in the scene and why it matters -what the characters are revealing to us in her language -implementing the three new simple steps we've learned! Review and Q&A: We'll end class with a review and a short Question & Answer session with me, a professional Actor! I can’t wait to see you in class so we can practice our Shakespeare!
